Nappy Composting Exceeds Targets

The recently opened Huggies Envirocomp Solution is well on its way to exceeding its first 12 month target. The plant operates in New Zealand with an 1811 HotRot Unit. 
“It’s only two months since the facility opened and we are more than halfway to our end of year target” says Karen Upston, the company founder. Their plan was to have 780 subscribers on board by the end of the first 12 months, and it is looks as though they will pass that target easily. Along with the growth in the number of parents signing up to this eco-friendly solution to the age old problem of nappies going to landfill, there is a strong interest from care homes and hygiene companies who are looking to seek ways to improve their operating methods.
